The typical PUD customers uses more water in some months than in others. This means water bills will be higher in some months than in others. For the convenience of our customers, Thurston PUD has created the Equal Payment Plan.
The Equal Payment Plan (EPP) spreads your water bills into equal installments over a 12-month period, so you’ll always know how much your bill will be.
When you enroll in EPP,
Thurston PUD bills you an estimated, equal amount each month, based on past
water usage. Throughout the year, we may review your usage to ensure
there are no abnormal spikes like water leaks.
Every 12 months, we will balance what you’ve paid to the charges based on your actual usage. After we determine the balance (credit or debit), this amount will be included in the calculation for the next EPP cycle.
